Every job, from a single room of laminate to a full herringbone installation, gets the same care with the preparation and the finish.

How a job runs

Straightforward from the first message to the final coat.

  1. Get in touch

    Send a message, photos of the room and a rough idea of what you'd like.

  2. Visit and quote

    We look at the space and the subfloor, talk through options and give you a clear price.

  3. Prepare

    Old flooring comes up, and the subfloor is levelled, screeded or boarded as needed.

  4. Install and finish

    The floor goes down, edges are detailed, and the room is left clean.

About us

The people behind the floors

LISIFLOORING is run by Lisander Berdufi, who has spent more than 15 years laying, sanding and restoring floors. In that time he has worked on everything from single hallways to school halls and restaurant dining rooms.

He works alongside a qualified crew who share the same standard: prepare the base properly, take time over the pattern and the edges, and leave a floor that still looks right years later.

We're based in and around London and cover the whole of Greater London. For larger projects we travel further across the UK, so if you're outside London it's still worth asking.

Are quotes free?
Yes. We'll look at the room and the subfloor, talk through your options and give you a clear price with no obligation. For smaller jobs we can often give you a good idea from photos and measurements sent over WhatsApp.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the size of the room and the condition of the floor. Sanding and refinishing a typical room usually takes a couple of days once you allow for coats to dry, while a full herringbone installation takes longer because of the preparation and the pattern. We'll give you a realistic timescale with your quote.
How much dust will there be?
Far less than people expect. Our sanding machines run with dust extraction, and we seal off doorways and cover what needs covering before we start. It's never completely dust free, but the room shouldn't be a mess when we leave.
Do I need to move the furniture?
The room needs to be clear before we start. If that's difficult, tell us when you book and we'll talk through what we can help with.
When can I walk on the floor again?
Usually later the same day the final coat goes down, in socks. Furniture and rugs should wait longer so the finish can harden fully. We'll tell you the exact times for the finish we've used before we leave.
Can you match or repair part of an existing floor?
Often, yes. We replace damaged boards and blend them into the rest of the floor when we sand and finish it, so the repair isn't the first thing you see.
Do you supply the materials?
We can supply the flooring and the finishes, or fit materials you've bought yourself. Either way we'll tell you honestly whether what you've chosen suits the room and the subfloor.
Do you work outside London?
We cover all of Greater London as standard, and travel further across the UK for larger projects. If you're outside London, it's still worth asking.
